These are the two male lions that were earlier patrolling the perimeter of their territory near Selinda Explorer Cap. We were on our way back to camp around 7:50 PM when we came across this very recent kill they were feeding on. Earlier in the day one of the guides gave us all a bit of a lesson during high tea about the male and female lions. His point was that even though most of the hunting is done by the female lions the males will hunt and kill when they are hungry - later in the day we came across this proof of that.
