There were four of us in the jeep along with the guide and we were a bit nervous about being so close. Our guide said not too worry as firstly the lions do not associate the green jeeps with ever having harmed them, and secondly once they realize that people are in the jeep the lions simply do not see us as even remotely any kind of threat, and so they ignore us
